Enter for your chance to attend an intimate pre-show acoustic performance with Tim McGraw and win a pair of tickets to see him live (the “Contest”).
TELUS clients who send a text message of “WIN” + city keyword code (see below) to short code 5588 on their TELUS PCS handset or device between February 4, 2010, 12:00 PM Eastern time and March 2, 2010, 11:59 PM Eastern Time automatically receive one (1) entry into the Contest. Entrants can participate as many times as they like. Standard fee of $.15 applies to each text message (free on some text message bundles).
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: To enter and be eligible to win the Prize (defined below) without purchase, complete all of the following information on a plain white piece of paper and mail it to:

Include the following required information: your full name, age, complete mailing address, daytime telephone number, your e-mail address, and the name of the Contest. To be eligible, entries must be received at the specified address by March 2, 2010, 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Entrants can participate as many times as they like but TELUS will only accept one mailed-in form per stamped envelope. Each entry form will give an entrant one ballot to participate in the Contest.
The awarded prize will consist of two (2) tickets to a Tim McGraw concert (each, a “Concert”) and an opportunity to attend an intimate pre-show acoustic performance (pending artist availability) in the city specified by you in your text message entry (the “Prize”). There are four (4) Prizes to be won – one Winner (defined below) for each Concert venue listed below. Retail value of each Prize is approximately $200 CAN.

All costs and expenses incurred in using the Prize and which are not outlined in the Prize description above are the sole responsibility of the Winner and Winner’s guest (“Guest”). If Winner is unable to attend the Concert on the date for which they have entered, Winner shall forfeit all rights to the Prize. No responsibility is assumed by TELUS or Warner Music Canada Co. (individually and collectively, the “Sponsors”) for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled Concerts after ticketing for any reason whatsoever beyond the Sponsors’ control, or if other factors beyond their reasonable control prevent the Prize or any part thereof from being fulfilled. In any such event, the Winner will not be provided with a substitute prize or cash equivalent for any part thereof. Further, the Sponsors assume no liability or responsibility whatsoever should the Winner or his/her Guest be denied entry to the venue, for any reason whatsoever. In the event that the Winner and Guest arrive at the Concert, and the artist is unable to perform or fails to perform (in concert or with the intimate pre-show acoustic performance) for any reason whatsoever, the Prize shall be deemed to be fulfilled.
Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not redeemable for cash or transferable. No substitutions allowed except at Sponsors’ sole discretion.
TELUS does not accept entries for this Contest by phone, fax, or e-mail and does not accept reproductions or copies of ballots.
To be eligible for the Prize, an entrant’s text message must take place or the entrant’s mailed-in ballot must be received by the Contest closing date of March 2, 2010, 11:59 PM Eastern Time. All entries become property of TELUS, which assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any failure of any entry to be received by TELUS on account of technical problems or failure of handset or mobile web browser, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from this promotion. TELUS reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to terminate, cancel or suspend this Contest at any time. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules.
A random draw for all four Prizes will take place at the TELUS office located at 200 Consilium Place, Scarborough, on or about March 14, 2010 (after 12:00 Noon EST) by a TELUS representative. The selected entrants will be notified by telephone within two business days of the draw. If the selected entrants cannot be reached within 24 hours or 3 attempts to contact, whichever first, or if a selected entrant does not meet all of the requirements set forth in the Contest Rules, another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. To be declared the winner (“Winner”), the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone at a pre-arranged mutually convenient time.
This Contest is open to all individuals who are residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, and have reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction where they reside at the time of entry excluding employees of the Sponsors and their advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their respective immediate families and any person domiciled with any of the above. Entrants who have won any prize from TELUS within the last 60 days are ineligible to enter the Contest or win a Prize and will be disqualified. Entrants under the age of majority are eligible to win the Prize described herein, provided that the selected entrant’s parent or legal guardian accepts the Prize on his/her behalf. No telephone contact or correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants.
To claim the Prize, the Winner and Guest or, if a Winner or Guest is under the age of majority, his/her parent or a legal guardian, must sign a standard form waiver confirming their acceptance and compliance with the Contest Rules and releasing the Sponsors, their affiliated entities and partnership interest holders, and each of their directors, officers, employees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies from any and all liability arising out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the Contest including liability arising from the promotion and acceptance of and usage of the Prize as awarded.
All entrants that are customers of TELUS at the time of entry and/or at the time the Prize is awarded must have their TELUS accounts in good standing (with a current account balance or one that is no more than 30 days past due).
The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of entries received. This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
By accepting the Prize, each Winner and Guest consent to: (a) the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image on video tape for publicity purposes in all media used by TELUS. By entering the Contest, each entrant agree to TELUS’ use of the entrant’s personal information as described in TELUS’ privacy policy located at www.telus.com.
